Dr. Debra Bingham will describe and discuss how she has used her own research and the research of others to influence current health policy, regulatory requirements, and large-scale improvement efforts. She will describe the multi-year effort she is leading to develop the first ever set of Women’s Health and Perinatal Nursing Care Quality Measures. She will also discuss the power of collaboration and her role as the Vice Chair of the Council on Patient Safety in Women’s Health Care.

Debra Bingham, DrPH, RN, FAAN, is the Vice President of Nursing research, Education, and Practice with the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric & Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN)
