Dr. Lisa Carari-Stone will lead a discussion on “Social Determinants of Border Health:  The Promise of Interdisciplinary, Community Engaged, Intervention Research with Promotores de Salud.” She, along with several of her research partners from across the state, will discuss research design, and highlight some of the key findings of this project. The presentation will also include an interactive discussion on the challenges and opportunities that face researchers conducting intervention research that bridges the clinical/medical home with social interventions.
