CDC Vital Signs: Hispanic Health

On May 5, 2015, the CDC released the findings of their first national study on Hispanic health in the U.S. Currently, about 1 in 6 people living in the U.S. are Hispanic, making Hispanics the largest racial/ethnic minority in the U.S. population. The Vital Signs Report on Hispanic Health reveals a disparity in certain health outcomes between the Hispanic sub-populations and the rest of the U.S. population, and provides physicians with actions to take, aimed at reducing these disparities.

Below are several documents listing some of the findings of the study. Spanish language versions of the documents and the Vital Signs report can be found at: http://www.cdc.gov/spanish/signosvitales/
